REFLECTIONS

Describe your initial motivation for choosing this particular project.

• I was looking for somthing that would deal with my major and gave me a freedom to learn about the in's and out's of business and how to deal with failing. Then it just really fell into my lap due to the fact that my wife wanting to sell the product and try to make more money.

Describe the steps you took to complete the project.

• Well when I figured out what I was going to do and the role I would play in helping my wife i started to work on the stuff that she wanted me to help here with (Business card, Inventory keeping, and helping her book booths at fair's for her to sell her product.

What was your goal? Did you achieve it?

• My goal for the entire project was to learn about business how and why stuff works the way it does and just to improve as a person in a position of power. 

What was your outcome? Did you see it come to pass?

• My out come was great my wife had fun she sold stuff that she was interested in and I kept her stock at the level it could be for her to have a successful out come for as long as she wanted to sell it. I felt like we were extremely successful

What skills did you use (or what new skills did you gain) from your work on this project?

• I leanred how to use Excel much more effectively and also how to manage an inventory

Why do you think SUU decided to put an experiential learning requirement in place?

• It gives students the opportunity to gain work experince first and second it gives us a project that we will be able to stick on a resume and gives you a resume (e-resume).

What does the metaphor "EDGE" in the name "EDGE Program" mean, especially for people who will be graduating soon?

• It is suposed to give S.U.U students a edge in the real world.
